Welcome to St Anne’s 3rd annual Community Week and Giving Day!
Community Week is centred around giving all of our St Anne’s community, including alumnae, students, staff and supporters, the opportunity to be involved and attend fun and entertaining events. This is particularly pertinent this year in a time when so many people are isolated and unable to see friends and family. Beginning on Wednesday 24th February, for 36 hours, we will also be holding our 2021 Giving Day where we will be raising funds to ensure that St Anne’s students continue to feel supported and that their education remains secure. We will also be raising funds for our Outreach and Access programme, which aims to reach the most disadvantaged young people with the greatest potential, helping them access the opportunities that should be available to them regardless of their background or circumstances.
Social media ambassadors
We are looking for social media ambassadors to help us spread the word and would love to hear from you if you are a regular user of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube and willing to share even just a few of our posts. Find out more on our website.
Events
If you’d like to get involved in other ways, we’ll be inviting alumnae and friends to make a donation during the Giving Days on 1 and 2 March as well as holding a series of events.
Monday 22 February: Chocolate Tasting (Closed for Booking)
Join us for an online chocolate tasting event run by Cocoa Runners, open to all.
Tuesday 23 February: Catch Up Cafe, 1pm – 2pm
All alumnae are warmly invited to join us for an informal virtual gathering.
This event will be a great opportunity to meet fellow Stanners, swap experiences and stories, compare halls of residence and hear about the College now. Please bring your own lunch and hot beverages!

Wednesday 24 February: St Anne’s Challenge, Alumnae vs Students, 7pm – 8pm
Join us for this University Challenge-Style event which will pit students vs alumnae!
A panel comprised of St Anne’s alumnae will go up against a panel of current St Anne’s students in the ultimate battle of knowledge.
Alumnae Team: Dame Mary Archer, Dr Kanta Dihal, Helen Marriage and Alpesh Patel
Student Team: Patrick Painter, Sara Vasiljevic, Lottie Robinson and Connor Craig
Tim Gardam, former St Anne’s Principal, will be hosting the quiz as our own Jeremy Paxman.
