St Anne’s students win exam prizes

We’re very proud of all our students who have made it through a very unusual Trinity Term this year. We’re delighted to announce that many St Anne’s students have performed remarkably in their examinations, even given the unusual conditions, and have won an array of prestigious prizes.

Joanna Min-an Camille Bui (Geography, 2017), who has won the J.C.A. Meldrum Fieldwork Prize for the best fieldtrip report for Berlin in FHS Geography 2020

Stanley James Wilshire (Geography, 2017), who has won the C.D.D. Gibbs Proxime Accessit Prize in FHS Geography 2020

Emily Read (Experimental Psychology, 2017), who has won the Gibbs Prize for Best Psychological Studies Practical Portfolio in the Honour School of Experimental Psychology

Corin Harrison (Experimental Psychology, 2017), who was awarded a Congratulatory First

Ho Zoen (Averie) So (Psychology and Linguistics, 2017), who has been awarded the Gibbs Prize for Best Psychological Studies Practical Portfolio in the Honour School of Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics

Susannah Hill (Law, 2017), who has won the Linklaters Prize for Best performance in FHS Competition Law and Policy

Josh Evans (Earth Sciences, 2017), who has won the BP Prize for Best overall performance in the 2nd year, as well as the Mineralogical Society Prize for Best 3rd year performance in mineralogy

Alfie Bavin (earth Sciences, 2016), who has won the prize for best overall performance in 4th year FHS, excluding winner of the BP/Amoco Prize

Hiroki Nagao (Earth Sciences, 2018), who has won the International Seismological Centre Prize for Mathematics and Geophysics, as well as the Department Outreach prize for extraordinary engagement within the Department

Ben Adam Jagger (Materials Science, 2017), who has won the TATA Steel Prize for Best Overall Performance in Part 1 Practicals 

Jake Turner (Materials Science, 2017), who has co-won the Armourers and Brasiers’ Company/TATA Steel Prize for Best Design Project

Philomena Rosetta Wills (French and Spanish, 2018), who has won the Kolkhorst and Arteaga Exhibition for Spanish

Grace Elizabeth Tierney (English and Modern Languages, 2018), who has won the Kolkhorst and Areaga Exhibition for Spanish
