OCCT

Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation

Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation is a research centre based in The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities and St. Anne’s College. It brings together experts in the fields of English, Modern Languages, Oriental Studies, Classics, Music, Visual Art, Film, Philosophy, and History.

We run a lively postgraduate-led discussion group during term, in addition to various conferences and seminars. We host major public engagement events with high-profile translators and writers, such as Oxford Translation Day and the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize. We also have a successful online journal, OCCT Review, with reviews written by graduate students and early-career academics.
