Mental Health Awareness Week: Welfare Event for Students

For mental health awareness week, Julie Osborne, the St Anne’s College Nurse, Siân Grønlie, and Laura Seymour invite students who are neurodivergent and/or living with depression and other mental health conditions to tea in Seminar Room 1 on Monday May 9th 2-3pm. This tea will be a calm, friendly, and relaxed event, and an opportunity for students to spend time together and share their experiences, to talk with us about mental health and neurodiversity, and to make appointments with Julie. We see the umbrella of neurodiversity as broad, including (but certainly not limited to) autism, depression, OCD, anxiety,  addictions, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, stammering, ADD, and voice hearing. There is no need to be formally diagnosed – if this event speaks to you, please come! To sign up, please email neurodiverseox@st-annes.ox.ac.uk or julie.osborne@st-annes.ox.ac.uk  If you have any access needs, or would like to let us know about your preferred communication style so we can accommodate that, please include these in your email. If you wish to be matched with one of us as a ‘buddy’ at the event, please tell us.
