This year’s AGM will take place in the afternoon of SATURDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2019 at St Margaret’s Institute, Polstead Road, Oxford. The AGM will be followed by tea.
The AGM for Oxford Branch members will take place at 3.30 pm followed by the talk at 4.00 p.m.
Our guest speaker will be HELEN SALISBURY, GP, activist and medical journalist, who will give a talk entitled:
Should doctors be political?
Helen, a St Anne’s alumna, is a passionate advocate and campaigner for the National Health Service. As well as being a well-known local General Practitioner, she is a columnist for the British Medical Journal and a regular contributor to Take a Break, the popular weekly magazine. Helen has been a Parliamentary candidate and is an executive member of the National Health Action Party.
Please note: As this event is open to non-Oxford Branch members (all St Anne’s alumnae and guests, subject to available space), we should appreciate your booking for this event so that we can cater appropriately. Guests are welcome to attend the talk. Please book in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
