Join us for our 2024 Community Week online webinar event on Monday 4th March 2024.

Uncertainty, insecurity, volatile job markets… two young St Anne’s alumnae reflect on how they navigated the post-graduation years of looking for the right career and working in jobs they did not love. Katie Burgess (matric. 2009) and Mark Hawley (matric. 2009) went on to forge successful careers at financial analysis and workforce planning. In this session they offer strategies for how to create resilience and find the job that is right for you.

Dr Susan Doering (matric. 1972) will be moderating. Susan has first-hand experience of career transitions and has coached hundreds of people to successfully make the career move they want. Her book “Smart Career Moves for Smart Women. How to Succeed in Career Transitions” was published in 2023 by Routledge.
